Coroners Service confirms identity of man killed in motor vehicle incident

 

KELOWNA – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a motor vehicle incident near Armstrong on May 30, 2013.

 

The man is David Victor Genschorek, aged 59, from Armstrong.

 

Mr. Genschorek was discovered deceased on the morning of May 30 by workers at a nearby worksite. He was the sole occupant of a vehicle that was located at the bottom of a steep embankment near Highway 97A and Eagle Point Road. 

 

The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.

 

The family of Mr. Genschorek has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.

 

The BC Coroners Service expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Genschorek.
